Autograf’s Heartbeat is a new take-me-back anthem

Autograf’s Heartbeat is a new take-me-back anthem

The perfect song for when you’re trying to win your ex after one too many drinks.

Autograf like to combine art and visual elements into their performances. But their latest single Heartbeat gives us the best type of visual; the visual of a man trying to win back the love of his life. Listen closely and you can actually the scene play out in your head. Or if you’ve smashed a few Jacks & Cokes, just have it playing in the background as you try to find the girl you let get away. Autograf’s grungy bass and piano, and rugged vocals add to all the feels of desperation, heartbreak and angst. But despite it’s rock resonations, the song isn’t too overpowering or distracting that you don’t listen to the lyrics, the most poignant line being, “my heartbeat baby won’t let you down”. It’s the perfect live song for the end of the night when your drinks have sunk in, feelings have surfaced and you have that final epiphany about where your heart truly lies. And then you got just one more song to fix all your mistakes. Autograf’s EP Future Soup is set for release later this year.
