Wil Wagner covering Violent Soho is glorious

These are two of my favourite things.

LA-based indie label SideOneDummy are celebrating their 20th year in existance, and to celebrate they've asked some of their bands to cover other bands on their label. A simple idea, but a great one, especially when you're home to two of Australia's raddest bands - The Smith Street Band and Violent Soho. To be honest we could watch Wil Wanger sit on a stool and talk about paint drying for three hours and it'd make us really happy. But until that day, a stripped back version of one of Violent Soho's most raucous hits will more than compensate:
