Just get ready, okay? And with the niceties aside we can talk about Hideous Sun Demon’s (great name in my opinion, good work Coolbois) video for F.L.E.X. It’s messed up but in a good messed up kind of way if you look past the woman at the beginning slurping up the bile from her boyfriend’s mouth. *imagines what I just typed and feels slightly ill* F.L.E.X. is lo-fi as hell, guitars just pound into each other as Hideous Sun Demon claw away at their guitars and yowl into the mic to make their point. What the point is, is lost on me after the slurping of bile but the garage feel of the track more than makes up for that. It’s just an explosion of energy, there’s no bullshit build or false drop; it’s all laid out for you to deal with. These guys are one of WA's most exciting heavy acts, and you can catch them live Friday 20 February at The Rosemount Hotel with our own HAMJAM and good lads Doctopus, and Saturday 14 March at Western Trend Festival in the Swan Valley.
