Premiere: Listen to a deceptively upbeat new single from MID CITY, Dead Broke Blues

From the ashes of Them Bruins arises Melbourne four-piece MID CITY.

MID CITY are a Melbourne-based four-piece with some members you may recognise from an old group - Them Bruins. However, with a new year (we're still calling 2018 new right?) comes a new focus and a newfound energy under their new moniker, and Dead Broke Blues is a thumping new taste of what we can expect. Recorded with Oscar Dawson (HOLY HOLY, Alex Lahey), the single is an energetic slice of upbeat indie-rock that has a touch of mid-naughties new-wave rock'n'roll about it that we're very much into. Take a listen to it below, and keep your eyes and ears peeled for new tunes from an upcoming EP and show announcements soon.
