Premiere: Ronan Nicholson - Threads

Take a first listen to the debut single of emotional indie rock from Naarm / Melbourne bassist stepping out in solo mode

After a decade of playing bass in a number of bands around the Melbourne scene, singer-songwriter Ronan Nicholson has prepared his incredibly impressive debut single of enchanting, emotional indie sounds, with Threads premiering on Pilerats today.

Occupying a sonic space similar to Sharon Van Etten or Leif Vollebekk, Threads features production by James Seymour (Arcade Fire, Merpire, Feelds) to bring the rugged guitar riffs, bubbling bass and Nicholson’s vocals to life across a song that “taps into a heartache that most have become familiar with over recent years, a heartache that only time can mend”.

Give Threads a spin today before it drops on Thursday, August 11!
