Premiere: Rip into the video clip for Last Lions' new single, The Sky Was Black

They've got a bunch of shows coming up around WA as well.

We don't hear from many bands outta Rockingham (like 30 minutes south of Perth), but we're glad to meet Last Lions. With a nice blend of Aussie indie-punk with some US emo sensibilities, their sound is polished and tight af, which probably explains why over the past few years they've supported the likes of Hawthorne Heights, Moose Blood, British India and Luca Brasi. They've just unleashed latest single The Sky Was Black, a swaggering indie-punk anthem that comes with an equally polished video clip. The kids are all right - check out the video below, and catch 'em live at a few dates over the coming months, including a show supporting The Bennies at The Rosemount Hotel next week.

TOUR DATES:

Thu 30 Nov - The Sewing Room, Perth w/ The Limbs, Bats & Trolley Boy

Fri 1 Dec - The Rosemount Hotel, Perth w/ The Bennies, The Cutaways & Candy Guts

Sat 13 Jan - Mojos Bar, Fremantle w/ Command A Panda

Thu 1 Feb - Amplifier Bar, Perth w/ Lights Of Berlin & Rogues
