Nine months on from her atmospheric 2022 single Who Are You After Me?, Angie Colman is back and more rocking than ever on her rollicking new single No Party!, premiering online on Pilerats today (after just getting a debut spin on triple j unearthed), ahead of its March 24 release.

No Party! sees Colman maintain an impressive momentum that’s seen her win a WAM award for her debut single, as well as play non-stop shows and sold-out headline gigs all around W.A. and supporting the likes of Ella Hooper, Caravana Sun and Noah Dillon.

Upping the tempo quite a bit from her last single, No Party! is a supercharged slice of spirited indie pop that sees big guitar hooks and a tight rhythm section accompany Colman’s captivating & commanding vocals, delivered with palpable passion.

Angie reflects on the track “After the break down of a 5 year long relationship, being forced out of my home, and being jobless, I found my mental health had deteriorated. Coming up to my 24th birthday, I felt unworthy of celebration and noted the destructive behaviours that were contributing to my pessimistic outlook on life.”

As well as her new single, Angie has announced a whole stack of W.A. and national shows supporting Melody Pool - see below for all dates, and give No Party! a sneaky early listen before it drops March 24!
