My Favourite Things: Ruby from Babaganouj

Fresh from supporting Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks, Brisbane-based four-piece Babaganouj are on the verge of celebrating their latest single Can't Stop with an east coast tour of Australia. In light of this, we thought we'd ask Ruby from the group (the dark haired lass in the header photo) for some sneaky pictures of a few of her favourite things. Check 'em out below after listening to Can't Stop, and lock in the dates down the bottom.

1. MY CAT ARCHIE

This is my cat Archie. He is a big dumb cat that does cute things all the time (also always up for a good pat and/or cuddle).

2. MY PIG TEAPOT

My friend bought me this teapot for my birthday because it reminded her of me. I'm not sure if that’s a compliment or if I should be taking offence? Either way when I wash it in the sink it make me feel like I’m giving a little pig a bath.

3. MY GUITAR

This is my guitar. It’s a vintage ’67 Fender Coronado and it's probably my most valued and prized possession. It sounds good and I think it looks pretty good too. More importantly though, if you look closely you can see some Snickers Pods in this photo (next to the Powerade). I really like them too. In fact if I could pick a sixth favourite thing it would be them.

4. MY BAND

This is Jack, Harriette and Charles.  They are <3 ~ :) forever :) ~ <3

5. BEN & JERRY'S TRIPLE CARAMEL CHUNK FLAVOUR

This is my favourite flavour of Ben & Jerry’s. I don’t think I need to say anything more about it.
