Listen: Django Django - Reflections

Come for the bouncing beats, stay for the saxophone.

After dropping First Light a few weeks ago, Django Django are back with their second single Reflections off their upcoming second album Born Under Saturn. Much like First Light it deviates from the vibrancy of previous tracks like Default; which was the sonic equivalent of sinking three thunderball shots. On the flipside Reflections is more akin to a glass of red; relaxed but at the same time the big, soaring choruses just carry so much more emotion. And when that saxophone comes in, instead of shooting the song in the foot Django Django actually manage to carry it off in a weird jazz-synth fusion.
