Listen: Methyl Ethel - Twilight Driving

Reverb-drenched pop-rockers Methyl Ethel are gearing up for the release of their debut record Oh Inhuman Spectacle. And the Perth three-piece, led by vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Jake Webb are rewarding fans with a taste of what’s to come with Twilight Driving. Recorded in the unassuming suburb of Shenton Park the lazed out song boasts the vocal ability of Webb, twinkling its way through eclectically-arranged lyrics and carefully chosen words the four minute jam, which culminates in some psyched out guitar noodling. Methyl Ethel will be powering through their remaindering dates with fellow Perth brethren San Cisco with appearances all the way from Maroochydoore to Woolongong. The record will drop subsequently on Friday June 5 though Dot Dash/Remote Control Records.
