Premiere: Listen to What I Got From You, a woozy new single from Death By Denim

They launch it this Saturday with a big show at Jack Rabbit Slim's in Perth.

Death By Denim are a Perth-based four-piece who've been on a radar for a while now, and their latest single What I Got From You is an absolute gem. With a hazy, late night vibe in the mould of Arctic Monkeys at their woozy best, according to the band it contains hints of "heartbreak, remorse and bittersweet nostalgia." No arguments from us on all accounts, they're celebrating the single's release with a typically large hootenanny at Jack Rabbit Slim's, where they'll be joined by Moonlighter and San Solis.

And if you can't make it down, they've got a couple of shows coming up to ring in the New Year, check the full list down the bottom, once you've copped this in-depth description from the band of the feels you may feel while listening to What I Got From You:

Like you are driving at top speed but viewing it in slow motion; Like you are doing a backflip only it is the Earth that is flipping around you while you stay still; Fresh socks; Like it's 3am and you are in a zero gravity disco room with a smoke machine; Like you are in a dream with your friends sky diving through the solar system; The cool side of your pillow at 3am; Like you just woke up after a big night and the entire world has been broken up into subatomic particles; A sip of lime cordial on a hot day; Late night strolls.

UPCOMING SHOWS:

Mon 31 Dec - NYE Pool Party @ Indian Ocean Hotel, Scarborough

Fri 7 Jan - Jack Rabbit Slim's, Perth (Almond Soy Support)
