Watch a reenactment of a John Lennon acid trip in animated form

Relive the swinging 60s through the eyes of the late Beatles singer.

Ah, the swinging 60s, a time looked upon by 'hip' 90s kids as a joyous time, but a time which, in reality, probably wasn't that great... because, you know, racism and Vietnam and stuff. But it wasn't all bad, as, among other things, planet Earth was gifted Beatles Mania, with John, Paul, Ringo and George taking the entire world by storm with their music and personality.

Notably, the 60s are also known for a time where psychedelic drugs were freely embraced and used. Now, in 2016, we get to see a beautiful combination of the two, as the folk at Rolling Stone have banded together for a brilliant animated reenactment of the first time John Lennon took LSD, soundtracked by his own accounts of the event.
