WAMFest announces 2016 first round of speakers for WAMCon

Mark the first weekend of November in your diaries folks.

WA's biggest and best music conference/festival WAM Festival is returning in 2016 with a new coat of paint, but keeping all the good stuff that's made the event a fixture on the Australian music calendar for a number of years. Now formally known as WAMFest and following on from last year's 11K+ attendees, it'll be taking place in Perth and Fremantle over four dates from Thursday 3-Sunday 6 November.

It'll once again deliver a smorgasboard of WA music, showcasing 150+ acts across 20+venues, along with the newly revamped WAMCon, including over 50+ speakers in total (the first 17 of which are listed below), along with the Block Party and Saturday Spectacular, an expanded Friday Showcases program (13 events already confirmed - details HERE), and an Australian first that will seeing WAMFest team up with Parlour to put festival programming into the hands of the public for Sunday Best! Plus there's the WAMAwards set for Thursday 3 November.

Presented in conjunction with Healthway to promote Drug Aware, you can check out the first round of speakers announced below, and grab an early bird ticket NOW.
