Southbound announces new Circus Tent, TruckStop & more DJs

Ever since the initial lineup announcement, Southbound have been adding more and more dope acts seemingly each and every week. Whether it was the addition of Elliphant and Jarryd James, The Wombats, the massive Coconut Club lineup or Ta-ku and San Cisco, there's been something musically added each and every week it seems. And now they're starting to flesh out the activity side of things with the announcement that WA's new foodie haven TruckStop will be roadtripping down to Busselton over the weekend of January 8-10, complete with custom retro roadhouse fit out, upcycled furniture and plenty of spaces to sit and dine with street food, craft beer and cider, locally produced wine, local live music and DJs in a specially curated setting.

Southbound 2016 also welcomes Commedia dell’ Southbound - the ultimate shaded escape in a Big Top tent with a craft beer bar and wood-fired pizza kitchen that you can enjoy while taking in the carefully curated program of comedy, burlesque and circus style performances with the full program announced in coming weeks.

Party tunes wise, they've also announced that Kilter and Paces will be shutting down proceedings on the Bigtop stage on Friday and Saturday nights and playing the Coconut Club stage, plus they've employed some top shelf changeover DJs in Alex Dyson and Zan Rowe from triple j, plus locals Craig Hollywood (RTR FM), Dennis Gedling (RTR FM), Simon Collins (The West)  Aarom wilson (WAM), Aaron Rutter & Paul Fletcher (JUMPCLIMB).
