Tory Lanez drops Luv, the second taste of his upcoming album

Taken from I Told You.

Currently riding under the mainstream radar, Toronto’s Tory Lanez is poised to blow up in a big way with his debut studio album I Told You due some time in the coming months. A genre-blending chameleon, balancing a woozy R&B persona with a biting hip hop side of himself with rare and alluring ease. Recalling the confidence and ability of fellow Canadian Drake, with whom Tory Lanez has had beef with in the past, Tory Lanez has utilised a recurring series of releases known as Fargo Fridays to release latest track, and second taste of upcoming album, Luv.

Produced by dance genre staples Cashmere Cats and Benny Blanco, Tory Lanez sings about the spiral of love, while interpolating elements of 90’s Dancehall tune Everyone Falls In Love by Tanto Metro and Devonte, appealing to fans of the R&B genre as well as touching on sounds which will find themselves appealing to music fans with an ear for dance and/or pop tunes.

As accessible as, if not more accessible than, the upcoming album’s first single Say It, Tory Lanez has made further moves to affirm his place as one of music’s hottest up and coming acts.
