Premiere: Listen to 'Far', an effortlessly cool new slow jam from Melbourne's ESESE

The artist collective absolutely nail their latest summer-ready single.

Eastern Seaboard Electric Soul Ensemble - much easier to type as ESESE - are a Melbourne-based collective consisting of musicians, producers, DJs, artists and directors among its talented ranks. After copping some Unearthed love in 2015, they backed up early promise with last year's debut EP, Act 1: Hancoq, along with a string of highly-regarded live shows supporting the likes of Milwaukee Banks, Jakubi and Baro. They've spent a fair chunk of 2017 locked away in the studio working on new material, and if Far is anything to go by, there is plenty to look forward to. I mean gotdamn can you not just imagine giving this a rinse in a sunny backyard with a few cold brews and good company? 'Cause that's exactly where it's taking me, which makes the fact it's only Tuesday pretty tough, but this has plenty of repeat listens to go:
