Local hip-hop collective team up with revered Chicago MC for new slice of rap goodness

Boorloo meets Chi-town today as Aussie trio Tone Youth team up with acclaimed rapper Mick Jenkins to unveil their latest creation of party-starting raps, Morse Code. With Jenkins on the chorus, the track compares and contrasts the survivalist culture of urban America with the struggles faced by disadvantaged Australians to great effect.

Teaming up with award winning local producer Andrew Wright (Alter Boy, T$oko, Otiuh), the production of Morse Code packs big drums and twisted vocal samples, with plenty of space for each MC to truly shine.

On the collab, Tone Youth say “Mick Jenkins was in town for a few shows, and we managed to link up with him and work on a little something. It only feels right for us to kick off our next few releases with this song. More tunes and surprises on the way. This is only the beginning.” Watch this space indeed.
