Atlanta rap clique Awful Records are firmly inserting themselves into the worldwide music radar.The collective-evolving-into-a-label gang, founded by 'Look at Wrist' rapper Father, wound up a strong 2014 with releases from their artists Rome Fortune, iLoveMakonnen, and Father, they're continuing to drive interest in 2015 with more weird and divisive rap, this time via a collaborative EP, Jesus Wept, from rapper Slug Christ and New York sad boy Little Pain, produced by Slug Christ. Little Pain has already given us another single this year, with suicideyear: In My Feelings, and earlier this year Slug and Pain teamed up on Gasoline.
Stream the EP's first single, Anywhere, below. "It sounds like Jesus crying on Mount Fuji as the wormhole to the nether-realm opens up and swallows our plane of existence," Slug Christ told FADER. Okkkaaaaay then.
