Listen: Korby - Feel My Face

Listen: Korby - Feel My Face

London alt-r&b singer, songwriter & producer continues his ascent with atmospheric & melodic new single + emotional video

A month after we got to know Korby and his debut single Wait For You, the North West Londoner is back with the equally impressive follow-up, Feel My Face, alongside a reflective music video starring the man himself.

Opening with dreamy keys, Feel My Face gives way to a propulsive break beat and rolling bass line, providing the foundation for Korby’s smooth and smoky vocals to deliver an extremely personal tale of escaping reality through substance use.

Korby explains “things were emotionally heavy, “the joy never lasted”, it's talking about using intoxication as a vice and an excuse to let it all out…it's honest & candid, referencing how my ADHD means I can struggle to focus & can be irresponsible with my actions but somehow it turns out ok. I’m just chasing that feeling of how good music pulls on my heart."

Meanwhile, the video sees Korby in a range of scenes and moods, ranging from isolation to partying with the crew, all set to stunning London cityscapes.

Korby's new single Feel My Face is out now via Neighborhood Recordings / Virgin Music Australia
