Oliver Sim and Jamie xx have a longstanding creative partnership, most recently collaborating to produce Sims forthcoming debut solo album Hideous Bastard together. Today they release the most recent track taken from the LP, Jamie xx adding to his handful of official remixes with a near 10 minute dance-floor epic GMT.

Previously remixing the likes of Radiohead, Adele, Four Tet and Florence and The Machine, GMT has already been a highlight of Jamie’s recent live shows around the world. Beautifully growing to highlight lush instrumental layers, and drawing back to allow Oliver’s vocals shine through, the remix is rooted in strong beats and thumping bass lines, as atmospheric soundscapes seamlessly guide listeners through the track's evolving journey.

Accompanied by an equally atmospheric video, pink/red and blue hues illuminating Oliver Sim dancing over landscapes, be sure to give GMT (Jamie xx Remix) a listen and watch below, as we await Hideous Bastard’s release come September 9.

Oliver Sims debut album Hideous Bastard is out September 9 via Young / Remote Control Records.
