Watch: MAKENESS - Rogue

MAKENESS captivates us with Rogue, the introduction to his forthcoming debut EP.

If there's one record label on the rise at present, it's Good Manners, with their shining star LUCIANBLOMKAMP swooning us over with his most recent single From Afar and its follow up due out very, very soon (you can check out a teaser on our Instagram page). Joining LUCIANBLOMKAMP, Planéte and Marcus Whale, the label has announced that Scottish musician MAKENESS is also joining the crew, announcing the addition with the help of a new single, Rogue. Much like their other signees, Rogue is a multi-faceted, percussion-laden piece of soft electronica, with pre Talk Is Cheap Chet Faker vibes in the fragile vocal work. The track is the introductory piece to the producer's debut EP, which is described by the man himself as the idea of "having two realities, and not being able to distinguish which one is real life", and is set to build on top of his influences of the Afrobeat and New Wave genres.
