The Bloody Beetroots and Jet just dropped a new collab, because why not?
My Name Is Thunder - their new single - is one of those things you never really wanted but you're getting anyway.
I think everybody knows that 2017 is shaping up to be a bat-shit crazy year, and now we just have further proof. For some bizarre reason, Italian electro-house crew The Bloody Beetroots and Jet - the Aussie rock band who gave us the pub-rock gem Are You Gonna Be My Girl? - have decided to treat planet Earth to a new collaboration My Name Is Thunder, a collaboration which is about as crazy as you would expect. My Name Is Thunder is sort-of like a Stereosonic mainstage edition of AC/DC's Thunderstruck, with screaming rock vocals and guitar work paired with a heavy EDM bassline to create what has to be the strangest song of the year. Like, it literally makes no sense what-so-ever. Listen to the track below, preferably at full volume for that extra heaviness that'll have you questioning how we as a human race deserved a song as great as this:
