Sydney’s Mike Who delivers a humid mix prepping us for Summer Dance’s next boogie

Summer Dance Ep 2 on V-Day will deliver the perfect mix of love, sun and funk.

Just a fortnight ago, I went along to Astral People’s brilliant opening of Summer Dance for 2016 (RECAP HERE). In the blink of an eye Episode 2 looms, starring the likes of Mike Who himself, Lefto and the legendary Nightmares On Wax. To stir some excitement surrounding the event, Mike’s whipped up 96 minutes of sunshine audio for us. Appropriately kicking things off with Leo’s Sunship's Give Me The Sunshine, the mix stays on this warm line as we traverse through some Latin American grooves, solid funk such as Merchant’s Instant Funk and Atjazz’s edit of Rain from Kerri Chandler. The set stays at a consistent tempo and the vibe doesn’t falter. In my books it serves its purpose perfectly – geeing people up for what’s set to be another fantastic day of dance at the National Art School in Darlinghurst. Heavy days if you aren’t in Sydney this Sunday. See you on the boogie floor at Summer Dance Episode 2.

Listen to the Atjazz remix simply because it’s a ripping track and stream Mike Who’s handiwork below.
