Premiere: Welcome to the swirling chaos of Doublethink Prism's debut single, Origami

A new project from Steven Aaron Hughes and spoken word artist Marcus John.

The combined efforts of producer ALYIAN AKA Steven Aaron Hughes (Usurper Of Modern Medicine, Injured Ninja) and spoken word artist SPLODGE (Marcus John), Doublethink Prism is a new project that is something to get excited about. Influenced by artists like Death Grips and Sleaford Mods, their debut single is an intense and mesmerising first step for what is instantly a unique new voice coming out of the WA music scene.

Origami is a swirling and intense first taste, taken from their upcoming mixtape Negro Tetris, which will be released for free November 16 via their WEBSITE, and will be proceeded by a debut live launch show on Thursday 1 December at The Bird, supported by Pool Boy, Last Quokka and CNT SNT. You can also get an early sneak preview Saturday 29 October at The Rosemount Hotel when they support Soulkouss Internatnioale.

Until then, immerse yourself in the telling first video clip, one that promises we're in for something incredibly special from some of WA's most intriguing artists.
