Premiere: Ginger & The Ghost shine brightly in new video clip for Glow

The avant-garde duo's latest is a sight to behold.

Electronic-pop duo Ginger & The Ghost have unveiled the celestial new video clip for latest single, Glow, in advance of a few special shows in Tasmania and Sydney. Sitting somewhere between Purity Ring and Lykke Li, the single is a joyous call to arms, featuring an uplifting chorus and warm, lush production the really packs a punch. The track also marks the culmination of a couple of years hard work for the duo: "The feeling is indescribable because we know it's just the start of our new sound and vision. We have been making this body of work for over two years and right now what we have to say is aligning with the global consciousness as a call to action. This is a pivotal time as an artist to be bold, to connect and to voice your passions, concerns and align yourself with what you believe in," said vocalist Missy Gilbert.

And the video clip is incredibly perfect, co-directed by the duo (also consisting of Daniel Bourne) and director Polly Snowden (Mama Kin, Tinpan Orange), Bourne says: "The story depicts us floating in space, masked and stagnate. We find enough energy to remove our masks and so begins the transference of energy between one another until it becomes so big it overwhelms us. Only after succumbing to it do we realise that this energy is an extension of ourselves and we can in fact harness its power."

It makes for an altogether brilliant package, and the perfect start for Ginger & The Ghost to make 2017 their own. Check it out below, along with those couple of show dates down the bottom:
