Newcomer Slushii remixes That Poppy's Lowlife

Newcomer Slushii remixes That Poppy's Lowlife

Despite only appearing two months ago, Slushii is quickly becoming one of electronic's biggest acts of the year.

US producer Slushii has become one of electronic's quickest-rising stars. Already copping that co-sign by OWSLA head-honcho Skrillex, Slushii's most recent release comes in the form of an official remix of That Poppy's Lowlife. Slushii's edit of the track sees him take the original's soaring vocals and give them a nice little EDM twist, with an expansive, future-bass drop jam-packed with a light, upbeat synth melody at that Jack Ü snare hit. In an era where electronic acts go as quick as they come, Slushii's almost overnight popularity explosion is really quite one of its kind, but what will be interesting to see is if he can outlast this initial hype-wave and become one of EDM's next big things.
