NYC-based producer comes correct on new EP of organic & entrancing house and techno flavours

After dropping his debut album basement, etc… last year, a record that touches on trip-hop, acid house and dub influences, Brooklyn’s downstairs j makes his mark on 2022 with the exploratory new EP Too, out on the newly established Brussels-based label Suzi.

Featuring four tracks of divergent tempos and vibes, Too kicks off with the stripped back, trippy downtempo goodness of Soothsayer, before the layered tech-house dancefloor cut that is Mana 4000 kicks in. Orion raises the energy even more with its trance crossover elements, before Symbiosis (possibly the EP’s standout cut) perfectly bookends the release with its slower, atmospheric house sounds, just begging to be a warm up set opener or a kick-ons sunrise track.
