Listen: Lord RAJA - Throw Them Out (System) (patten Remix)

The experimental audio visual artist takes Lord RAJA to a new dimension.

Mysterious London-based experimental artist and producer patten has released a stunning remix of Lord RAJA’s Throw Them Out (System). Released via Lord RAJA’s label Ghostly International, the original track featured on Lord RAJA’s December EP A Constant Moth. A member of the experimental Warp label clan, which includes artists such as Flying Lotus, Clark and Aphex Twin, patten is known for his unique pairing of abstract audio visuals and ethereal dance music. After the release of his first official LP Estoile Naiant in 2014, patten nailed a bunch of abstract dance remixes, including a moody remix of British producer kwes' track Purplehands. patten carries Lord Raja’s work to a new cosmic plane and includes some curious sampling of an old typewriter, yet retains the astral synth and distinct rapid dance beats of the original track.
