Listen: Yale - City Feeling

A little bit of disco in time for the weekend.

A little bit of disco on a Thursday is never a bad thing, it gets you in the mood for the weekend without having your frothing at the mouth for party time. This time around the vibes come courtesy of Brisbane electro-pop duo Yale, and their latest offering City Feeling. Think tropical percussion, quick synth-jabs and a funky bass-line all morphing together to form a very Classixx-like, nu-disco jam filled with a ton of summertime vibes. It goes down an absolute treat and in case this doesn’t sound good enough, the tune is up for download for free via their triple j Unearthed page. If the overall feel of the tune sounds familiar, you could put it down to Sydney producer G.L.O.V.E.S on mixing duties, himself a nu-disco king from a couple of years ago.
