After capturing the hearts of a nation with catchy-as-fuck debut single, Boyfriend (Repeat), elusive four-piece Confidence Man have backed it up with an equally great single in Bubblegum, and announced a run of Aus' tour dates to celebrate. Bubblegum is dripping in the same kinda sass it's forebear came with, with a lo-fi sensibility and not-on-the-nose quirkiness that takes me back to the days when The Bumblebeez reigned supreme.
They've been jumping on festival lineups all over the shop, and if things continue on the same trajectory, it's not gonna be long before they become an Aussie music powerhouse - so catch 'em on one of their tour dates so you can say you got in on the ground floor (dates down the bottom):
