Listen: Roland Tings - Hedonist

Listen: Roland Tings - Hedonist

A hefty new tune from Roland Tings ahead of a massive party on Sydney Harbour.

It's hard to stick a genre onto Australian producer Roland Tings, with his percussion-heavy, house-infused groove unique to any other artist within our dance music scene. After dominating this year with a mound of remixes, originals and gigs (including a spot at our At The Pile shows), the now seasoned producer has shared Hedonist, a wonky, eight-minute sprawl of funk. Adding layer upon layer upon layer, Tings turns Hedonist into an epic, with an orgy of percussion and atmospheric synth building until a breakdown three minutes in, where the producer switches up with a more traditional, house sound amongst floating keys and rolling snare.

Get swept up below:

In case that's not enough Tings for your week, the producer also has a whole heap of dates coming up throughout Australia (and a couple in the US that you can find HERE), including a pretty damn amazing sound show at The Island (LIVE), presented by V Movement and the UNDR Ctrl legends. With a line-up including CC:Disco, Kato (from Wordlife) and a special guest TBA, as well as Roland Tings, the party is set to takeover Sydney harbour on November 6th - tickets HERE.
