Listen: Porter Robinson - Divinity (Odesza Remix)

Another high-quality remix by Seattle duo Odesza.

Odesza Chills (noun) - The sense of pure awe and happiness that comes across you whenever you hear a tune from Odesza.

I know it's corny as hell to start off with a dictionary definition (not that 'Odesza Chills' is in the dictionary or anything) but honestly it's the only way to describe it. After captivating the world with their second album In Return and it's many charming singles, Seattle electronic duo Odesza have returned for a stellar new remix of Porter Robinson's vocal-infused single Divinity. Light percussion and twinkling keys swirl around while vocalist Amy Millan absolutely nails the original's atmospheric vocals as the composition builds, cutting away from the synth-heavy drop of the original Odesza transform the piece into a euphoric breakdown packed full of synth, beeps and vocal cuts. Odesza's remix of Divinity brings the single to another level, a thing all good remixes should do and is definitely going to go down smoothly when the duo arrive in the country this week for the Listen Out festival tour.
