Listen: Owen Rabbit - Denny's

Owen Rabbit flexes his vocal muscle on new single, Denny's.

We've had a lot of fun following Owen Rabbit's Journey in 2015. Over a solid few weeks in September/October he gave us a rad little insight into his national tour support following SAFIA around the country (honestly, check 'em out HERE), and now he's gearing up to close the year in style following a quick trip to CMJ with new single Denny's. The follow-up to Holy HolyDenny's sees Rabbit continue evolving his own indie-electronic sound, with a focus on his impressive vocal range. The song itself deals with - as is often the case with Owen Rabbit - honest and candid insights into the musician's own pscyhe:

"I suffer from depression and anxiety. One night of panic attacks and delirium in Los Angeles was a catalyst for a long journey through different therapists, doctors and dosages. I’m in a better place now. I’m glad I got help. I’m lucky that I have music in my life. Denny’s is about that night and how I changed."

He's currently supporting JOY. on her national tour, which hits Brisbane (Nov 13) and Perth (Nov 14) this weekend at Jack Rabbit Slim's, followed by Sydney (Nov 20) after that. Get down early and make sure you catch one of the country's most exciting young songwriter/producer/multi-instrumentalists.
