To say HAAi has had a good couple of years would be perhaps just a taaadddd of an understatement - since signing to the legendary Mute label with 2020’s brilliantly titled (and produced!) EP Put Your Head Above The Parakeets, the Australian expat has gone from strength to strength and appears to only just be getting started as today she gives us new single, Bodies of Water.
A masterful mixture of breakbeat driven techno and electro-pop (including HAAi’s stunning vocals sitting perfectly alongside 90s rave-esque vocal samples), Bodies of Water is the first taste of the long-awaited debut full-length album from HAAi, with Baby, We’re Ascending dropping in May. In the meantime, it’s time for a dip in the Bodies of Water:
