Just a few months after releasing his last album Say It Loud in March, GRiZ is back with a surprise free summer mixtape Chasing The Golden Hour Pt. 1. Featuring his track Summer '97, which has already reached over 1 million plays, this album goes back to GRiZ's sampling days, featuring sample-heavy songs influenced by the likes of J Dilla and Hi-Tek. His unique electronic-jazz fusion sound has helped make this a killer year for GRiZ, and it's sure to keep going as this mixtape is the first of a multi-part series.
