Listen: Erik Hassle – No Words (Kasbo Remix)

A fresh and funky future-bass remix courtesy of young Swedish producer Kasbo.

If he isn’t already, Swedish producer Kasbo is someone who definitely should be on your radar. Making a name for himself with remixes for Vance Joy, Louis Futon and Jeremih, as well as a couple of stand out originals (such as Kaleidoscope, released last year), the 19-year-old Swede has slowly been growing to worldwide recognition. After falling silent for a couple of months, Kasbo has returned with a remix of fellow Swede Erik Hassle, and his highly successful pop single No Words. While the original features Hassle singing over a funky disco beat, the Kasbo re-do completely shakes it up, leaving Hassle’s melancholic lyrical work and instead layering it over hand-claps, piano chords, organ and a funky, disco-infused, future-bass breakdown. Have a listen below and if you enjoy, stay tuned for more Kasbo work in the upcoming few months by keeping an eye on his socials (links below).
