Listen: Alessia Cara - Here (Vincent Remix)

Formerly known as XVII, Winnipeg local Vincent takes on Alessia Cara's breakout hit Here.

Formally known as XVII, 20-year-old producer Robert Hughes has undergone a massive transformation - changing his producing alias to Vincent and with it, changing his sound. While many would know him from his signature, synth-filled flips of Alison Wonderland's U Don't Know, Flume's Some Minds and Meek Mill's Rico, Vincent's new remix is a more refined, professional sound, bound to give speakers a work out both at home and in the clubs. Taking on the debut single from pop newcomer Alessia Cara, Vincent transforms Here from a smooth, R&B jam into a bass-heavy club fiend, with swirling synth and percussion claps exploding above the smooth vocals and light keys of the original. The remix comes as the Winnipeg local jets off to Australia for his debut tour - dates below.
