Command Q unleash the beast on large new single, Choo Choo

The bass-loving Perth duo gets heavy on their new single, which joins tracks by Hydraulix and Barely Alive on Twonkilation Vol. 1.

When it comes to bass music, there's no place quite like Perth. In the past few weeks alone, HWLS and Slumberjack - two Perth veterans - have dropped rather large new EPs, with quickly-emerging duo Command Q now joining these ranks with a new single titled Choo Choo. Released as a part of Brillz's Twonkilation Vol. 1 (which we were introduced to by Hydraulix's Head Bang), Choo Choo is huge, to put things simply. Opening with playful train samples (hence the bizarre song title), Choo Choo doesn't take too long at all to transform into a roaring, bass-loaded banger that heaves with a deep low-end and a metallic, dub-leaning synth melody. It's said to be a sign of things to come from the production duo, who are launching into their forthcoming, nationwide tour supporting the single this weekend at Bunbury's Groovin' The Moo (dates below).

Choo Choo isn't the first piece of new music to come from Command Q of late though, with the boys showcasing their live setup with a tease of unreleased new music:
