Hundred Waters return with a woozy new single, Particle

The first taste of their forthcoming third album has arrived, and it's a stunner.

After getting the remix treatment from Skrillex last year (who enlisted Chance The Rapper and others for the occasion), Hundred Waters have returned with a stunning new single entitled Particle, the first from their forthcoming, currently-untitled third album. The trio's new single - out through OWSLA and on Pod/Inertia Music in Aus'/NZ - is simplistic brilliance, with the soft vocals of frontwoman Nicole Miglis softly crooning above the track's predominately percussion-led beat. Particle is all about contrasting light and heavy sounds, with the bright vocals of Miglis and its partnering uplifting piano chords refreshingly washing than the track's far-heavier production, which at times pulses with deep kicks of bass drum. Grab the free download of the single HERE, and if you're in the US this weekend, be sure to check out FORM Arcosanti - a festival the trio founded and curate which this year includes headline acts such as Skrillex, Solange, James Blake and Father John Misty.
