The Preatures release video for Girlhood, announce Oz Tour

Their new album of the same name is due August 11.

Sydney's The Preatures have followed up the release of their comeback single Girlhood with the video clip for it, along with announcing the Girlhood National Tour, celebrating their new album of the same name, due August 11. It'll follow-up their breakout debut, Blue Planet Eyes, and according to frontwoman Isabella Mandredi, "The songs are about growing up as a young girl in Sydney. But a band is also the sum of your relationships with each other, so maybe it’s also about the last eight years growing up together."

The group just last night played a barnstorming show as part of VIVID Sydney, and we'll be hitting all the major capital cities over September, joined by good blokes Polish Club. Check out the clip and all the tour dates, below:

TOUR DATES:

Fri 1 Sep - The Forum w/ Polish Club & Hair Die

Sat 2 Sep - Enmore Theatre (All Ages) w/ Polish Club & Hair Die

Thu 14 Sep - Brisbane Festival (All Ages)

Fri 22 Sep - Adelaide HQ (All Ages) w/ Polish Club & Rin McArdle

Sat 23 Sep – Capitol w/ Polish Club & Boat Show
