Premiere: Watch the visceral one-shot video for A. Swayze & The Ghosts' Smooth Sailing

Go see these Tassie tigers when they hit the road for their EP tour over November/December.

Sometimes a music video is so elegant in its simplicity it just grabs you by the short-and-curlies from the outset. And Tassie gents A. Swayze & The Ghosts' new video clip for latest single Smooth Sailing definitely did that for this humble writer, forever drowing in a sea of new music and video clips drifting in one ear and out the other eye. It also definitely helps the cause when the single is as much of a belter as Smooth Sailing is - as rousing a call to arms you'll hear this year, and already firmly lodged into my ear like a worm to its rotten apple. A rip-snorting two minutes and thirty seconds, made instantly iconic thanks to the one-shot directorial efforts of Aidan McDonald: "This video was filmed in one take and one shot by Aidan McDonald. It actually got us in a bit of strife as we filmed it in a space without clearance with a smoke machine we weren't supposed to be using. When we saw the footage we knew we were keeping it no matter what."

Fight the power, fuck the man, and get around A. Swayze & The Ghosts - they're onto something here.
