Premiere: Watch the cracking one-shot video for Greenthief's latest single, Simple Drug

And then go catch 'em on their Aus' tour, kicking off at the end of the month.

Following the release of their much-loved sophomore album, Tremors, mid-last year, freshly Melbourne-based rock fiends Greenthief followed it up earlier this year with slamming new single, Simple Drug, and we're quite chuffed to be premiering said track's video clip today. The video clip is almost elegant in its simplicity, shot (in half time) in what appears to be the most suburban backyard ever, the band - and some friends - get wet, get smokey and jump on a trampoline set to vocalist Julian Schweitzer's parables between drugs and small-minded people: "The lyrics draw comparison to getting high from narcotics, but in this case the substance is the hate-based ideals which are exaggerated when small-minded individuals get together, causing an almost euphoric effect."

Check it out below, and catch 'em when they hit the road at the end of this month (full list down the bottom):

TOUR DATES:

Fri 31 Mar - Ed Castle, Adelaide

Sat 1 Apr - Cherry Bar, Melbourne

Sat 8 Apr - Ric's Bar, Brisbane
