Listen: Sunk Loto - The Gallows Wait

Legendary Aussie metal four-piece follow-up recent reunion tours with their first single in over twenty years and it’s heavier than ever

Proving that metal is indeed life are Sunk Loto, the four-piece who in the late 90s were Australia’s foremost nu metal band going on to release a breakthrough EP and two full length records, the latter of which came out in 2003 and was their last recorded music.

Now nearly twenty years to the day since the release of Between Birth and Death, Sunk Loto are back with a crushingly heavy new single and intense, cinematic video, The Gallows Wait.

Packed with crushing riffs and pummelling percussion, The Gallows Wait picks up where Between Birth and Death left off as they continue to push things in a heavier, more metalcore influenced direction while retaining their melodic essence and palpable passion.

The Gallows Wait comes after a huge run of reunion shows for the band last year. For anyone who missed out on those gigs, the good news is alongside their new single Sunk Loto have announced a five date Between Birth and Death 20th anniversary tour - see dates below and check out their new single:
