Listen: Pretty Vicious - Cave Song

It’s an absolute baller.

To sum up Pretty Vicious in one sentence: they’re like the Arctic Monkeys circa Whatever You Say I am I’m Not, but Welsh i.e. fucking pissed off. The raw riffs, scuffed drums and yowling vocals of Brad Griffiths in Cave Song sum them up as the best new band coming of the UK in 2015. Forget Peace and Wolf Alice, Pretty Vicious is where it’s at. And if word on the street is anything to go by then the whole British industry has realised this as well because there was an intense bidding war that has just been won by Virgin EMI. So while it may only be one song you had better keep an eye on Pretty Vicious as they’re set to release another track by the end of the month, one we eagerly await.
