Listen: Late 90s - Rust feat. Spici Water

The alt-rock group unleash their latest high energy track, featuring vocals from fellow WA up and comers.

From Boorloo/ Perth hails alt-rockers Late 90s, an outfit those local to WA might have seen gigging around with the likes of Pot Plant House Party, South Summit, DICE, or alongside Hope D, Old Mervs and Moaning Lisa at Sly Withers’ SideFest 2022. Today the band release their latest single Rust, a track featuring the vocals of AJ Goulden from fellow west coast group Spici Water

Inspired by the heavier sounds of Pierce The Veil, Trophy Eyes, and Ocean Grove, Rust is a high energy track with scratchy distorted guitars, frantic rhythms, pumping bass, and soaring vocals that intertwine beautifully. On the inspiration behind the release, Late 90s share that “‘Rust' is an emotionally driven and guitar forward tune about lingering feelings toward a lover long after the ship has sailed.”

Out now, be sure to hit play on Late 90s latest release Rust feat. Spici Water below, and get ready to headbang along at their upcoming launch this Saturday at Amplifier Bar, Perth.
