It’s all too appropriate that off the back of two incredibly inspiring years that saw him win a slew of AIR, APRA, AMP, ARA, NLMA and AMP awards and take his sold-out live show all around America and Europe, and is currently on tour supporting Tame Impala, Genesis Owusu’s new single out today is titled Get Inspired.
Arguably one of the most inspirational contemporary Australian artists, Get Inspired should do just as it’s title implies, with Owusu showing his diversity and willingness to embrace any and all genres, taking things in a motorik, addictive, post-punk direction.
Get Inspired is the second Owusu single for the year, following up GTFO a few months ago, as we all wait for news of a follow-up album to 2021’s acclaimed Smiling With No Teeth album.
