Exclusive: GC duo CAKES bring the ruckus on explosive debut EP, Prescription Bugs

It drops officially tomorrow with one helluva launch party.

CAKES is a two-piece alt-punk outfit from the Gold Coast with a pretty damn refreshing sound if we don't say so ourselves. While there's a touch of At The Drive-In, METZ and Jane' Addiction about 'em, it doesn't really feel like anyone in Australia is doing it at the moment, and as such we're stoked to offer up an exclusive stream of their new EP, Prescription Bugs, a rambunctious 7-track featuring previously released singles ILL and Break My Mode. It's energetic, in-your-face, a little bit experimental and always interesting, and we are very much about it.
