Premiere: Pat Chow keep it breezy on new single No Strings

Taken from their forthcoming second LP, Overwhelming Care.

Perth-based indie-rockers Pat Chow have got a bloody huge year lined up, one that includes an incoming US tour in March, and the release of their second LP, Overwhelming Care. As we march towards those special dates, they've given us another taster from the album in No Strings, a refreshing step away from their patented brand of ripping rock'n'roll into more chilled out territory. The male/female vocal dynamic works a treat as the band goes into a deep examination of a one night stand, helped along thanks to the addition of singer/songwriter Ashby Ranson on rhythm guitar/harmonies as a full-time member of the band.

They've got a show this Saturday as part of the North Freo Pub Crawl, launch the single on Friday 16 February at Jack Rabbit Slim's (more info/details HERE), and support the Grenadiers on March 9 and 10. And keep your eyes out for a split 7" coming with Nashville's The By Gods, who'll be taking PC on tour in the Americas in March.
