Music videos are artistic extensions of the songs themselves, with many visual accompaniments becoming just as, if not more iconic than the song it was created for. As usual, some of our favourite songs of the week also had some of our favourite videos, with this week's list including A. B. Original, Bombay Bicycle Club, Chet Sounds, Full of Hell and Nothing, gglum, Jamila Woods, Kirin J Callinan, Maple Glider, PNAU & Empire Of The Sun and Shady Nasty!

Bombay Bicycle Club - Tekken 2 feat. Chaka Khan

This week's huge unexpected collab we didn't know we needed came courtesy of British indie rock veterans BBC teaming up with living icon Chaka Khan, complete with a sweet & charming music video that features all the talent. Bombay Bicycle Club's new album My Big Day is out October 20 via AWAL

Chet Sounds - Hot Lips Houlihan

Channelling Art Clokey, trippy claymation visuals pair perfectly with Eora/Sydney-based producer & artist's new psychedelic jam. Chet Sounds' new album Changes Happen To Everyone, Everywhere is out October 27 via Third Eye Stimuli.

Full of Hell and Nothing - Spend The Grace

Grindcore meets shoegaze on this genre-defying heavyweight underground collab featuring a cinematic, experimental music video worthy of the sounds, from HD close ups of food preparation to mind bending film collages.

gglum - SPLAT!

Secretly Canadian's latest signing turns in a new single of atmospheric indie rock and a nostalgic, DIY house party-themed music video.

Jamila Woods - Practice feat. Saba

Woods delivers a very cheeky music video featuring a whole lot of skin and choreographed body parts on her collab with rapper/producer SABA. Jamila Woods' new album Water Made Us is out October 13 via Jagjaguwar.

Kirin J Callinan - Eternally Hateful

Aussie alt-pop provocateur returns with a driving new 80s synth-pop inspired sounds and a wild music video that sees Kirin exploring various medieval torture methods and devices... because, of course. Kirin J Callinan will be performing a one-off show at Mojos Fremantle on December 2.

Maple Glider - Do You

The latest majestic & tender single from her new album once again features some great visuals, with a melancholic narrative-led music video. Maple Glider's new album I Get Into Trouble is out now via Partisan.

PNAU & Empire Of The Sun - AEIOU

Nick Littlemore's musical worlds collide on new cut of housey pop sounds, while the AI-utilising video takes things on a sci-fi, cyberpunk inspired direction.

Shady Nasty - HARDSTYLE

Eora/Sydney-based genre-bending punks deliver a hard-hitting & commanding new single while continuing their streak of engaging & experimental music videos.

Enjoy all these tunes as well as our favourite singles of the week and a stack of other new music we've been feeling in our Office playlist - 150 of the best tunes from the last few weeks.
