Music videos are artistic extensions of the songs themselves, with many visual accompaniments becoming just as, if not more iconic than the song it was created for. As usual, some of our favourite songs of the week also had some of our favourite videos, with this week's list including 1300, Blink-182, Chromeo, ENOLA, Forest Swords, Kevin Abstract, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Mac DeMarco & Ryan Paris, Sunk Loto and Wild Nothing.

1300 - Lalaland

Australia’s foremost Korean-Australian hip-hop group celebrating signing to UK-based label Eastern Margins with a dance-music infused cut of raps alongside a video channeling some Blair Witch Project vibes with a party twist.

Blink-182 - Dance With Me

A few weeks out from Blink’s comeback album One More Time… featuring the original trio for the first time in over a decade, they drop a third single with a video that pays homage to the Ramones and their iconic I Wanna Be Sedated music video (is that the exact same set?!). Blink 182’s new album One More Time… is out October 20 via Colombia / Sony.

Chromeo - Personal Effects

Iconic electro-funk-pop duo continue their hot streak with their fourth single in 12 months as they announce their sixth studio album. In typical Chromeo form, the single features a fun, high quality music video, this time seeing Dave 1 & P-Thugg dealing with heartbreak and private investigations. Chromeo’s new album Adult Contemporary is out February 24 via Chromeo Recordings.

ENOLA - Looking Back

Check out what we said about ENOLA’s new one earlier in the week here.

Forest Swords - Munitions

Influential British producer and sound designer extraordinaire edges closer to his third studio album with an industrial-tinged cut of downtempo indie vibes alongside a dark, somewhat unsettling video that features pitch black environments littered with odd sculptures and objects, lit only by torchlight. Forest Swords’ new album Bolted is out October 20 via Ninja Tune.

Kevin Abstract - Blanket

Brockhampton? More like ROCKHAMPTON… Kevin Abstract steps out with a rocking, experimental, short & sharp new single, while the video sees Kevin surrounded by some life size soft toy friends on a secluded farm setting, keeping with the experimental vibes of the song’s composition.

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - Theia / The Silver Cord / Set

Check out what we said about the new King Gizz triple threat earlier in the week here.

Mac DeMarco & Ryan Paris - Simply Paradise

Seven years after Mac first sung iconic 80s synthpop hit Dolce Vita’s praises, he’s teamed up with Ryan Paris himself for an irresistible new softrock r&b single, with an equally fun video featuring the pair jamming on an Italian beach during a fading afternoon.

Sunk Loto - The Gallows Wait

Check out what we said about the return of Aussie metal legends Sunk Loto earlier in the week here.

Wild Nothing - Dial Tone

Indie-pop singer-songwriter gears up for his fifth studio album with an upbeat new single referencing a landline phone dial tone (remember those?) and a gorgeous, cinematic music video that portrays a couple trying to find each other as they race through busy big city streets. Wild Nothing’s new album Hold is out October 27 via Captured Tracks.

Enjoy all these tunes as well as our favourite singles of the week and a stack of other new music we've been feeling in our Office playlist - 150 of the best tunes from the last few weeks.
